Today, NABERS ratings for offices include NABERS Energy, NABERS Water, NABERS Waste and NABERS Indoor Environment.

NABERS Energy and Water ratings are also available for homes, hotels and shopping centres. Development of other components of NABERS for offices and homes, as well as other building types, is continuing.

To promote your environmental performance to clients, staff, tenants and stakeholders using the NABERS  logo you must receive an accredited rating. Only a NABERS Accredited Assessor is able do this. An accredited rating involves applying a strict Validation Protocol to your building data, to ensure that offices around the country are rated consistently and fairly. Building managers, owners and tenants can self-assess the environmental performance of their base building, whole building or tenancy at no cost using the NABERS Performance Rating Calculators. These calculators are currently available for greenhouse/energy (applicable to base buildings, tenants, and whole buildings) and water (applicable to whole buildings).

For your company to promote your rating and use the NABERS trademarks, you must obtain an accredited rating.
